Is it a red flag when a job posting won't say the shift differential?
Interviewing for a couple of night audit roles. One posting proudly lists the night diff, the other just says 'competitive' and the recruiter dodged when I asked directly. Is that a dealbreaker or am I overthinking it? Curious how you all read that.
Not an automatic dealbreaker but a yellow flag. A place proud of its night pay tells you. Dodging means it's low. Ask for the number in writing before you accept.
'Competitive' with no number = below market until proven otherwise. Make them say the figure.
